Children often spend time in exam rooms waiting for their doctor to arrive so I was tasked with designing graphics to help distract and entertain them. I created illustrations in the Children's Colorado geometric style with fun facts about the flora and fauna in the landscape. They appear throughout the Anschutz Medical Campus Outpatient Pavilion, the Health Pavilion (a separate location) and will soon be installed throughout the system.

This project, along with additional illustrations created by my fellow designers, Sandi Enzmann and Alison Chan won a GDUSA In-House Design award in 2019.
Multidisciplinary Clinic graphics
When the Multidisciplinary Clinic at the Anschutz Medical Campus opened in 2015 I was tasked with designing distraction graphics that integrated into the wall. In the clinic patients see a wide variety of providers in one block of time and so can be in their exam room for an extended period of time. My idea was to collaborate with our local partners to source images for interesting, stimulating collages. Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Museum of Nature and Science and Denver Zoo supplied images.

This project won a GDUSA Health + Wellness Design award in 2015.
