Children's Colorado took a 3,000 square foot underutilized corner of the grounds and turned it into the Healthy Roots Community Garden. The sustainable garden enables the hospital to grow and harvest a wide range of fresh produce. And provides hands-on nutrition education and healthy eating/obesity prevention programs and provides food for the food prescription program and food pharmacy, allowing health care providers to “prescribe” healthy food. I designed a suite materials included a logo, signage in the garden and a infographic about seasonal produce. The design scheme fits in with the Children's Colorado brand with an emphasis on geometric shapes.
